Vanderwhaaaat?

So I am here! My flights went really good and I found my group members from FB pretty early on. There was really no time to stop and rest or to eat between flights it was pretty much from one to the other. I only had to be on the plane for about 2 hrs but we (the Quesnel and Vanderhoof groups) met in P.G and then got on a bus to head to Quesnel. The drive was extremely long because we went P.G to Quesnel, Quesnel to P.G and then P.G to Vanderhoof. Loooong ride. We watched Shaun of the Dead for part of the ride, and our bus driver was SO nice and there were no PL on the bus so we asked him to take us to McDonalds and he did!! So we bought him a Sundae as a symbol of our gratitude. We got to our Vanderhoof house at 3 am E-town time, 2 am our time. We met our PL Melissa she is so, so, nice. (And looks like Elisa! ahaha) She seems totally down to earth and really down for experimentation and experiencing new things together. We got a tour of our house which is HUGE. The girls live on the main floor guys upstairs with the PL. A bathroom room for the boys, seperate for the girls. We chose our rooms and I have the top bunk and share with 3 other girls. Now that I'm on the top bunk I do NOT like it ahaha. It feels like I'm floating in the air and its hard to fall asleep. I have 6 girls and 5 boys in my group and only 3 people are French. This morning we woke up at like 9 and got ready for the Quesnel group at 10. We ate toast and peanut butter, and random fruit. Then we did ice breakers and whatever at the local arena and then learnt the rules of the program from 3 hrs. Actually 3 hours long theres that many rules. But curfew is reasonable and none of the rules are overly hardcore or seem too hard to follow. The Quesnel group is awesome and we already get along with them so well, too bad theyre like three hours away and when we go to Quebec they'll be in Ontario. For supper we had pasta and garlic toast and talked and then we did a realy lame presentation about the prairies.. mostly saskatchwan jokes. Now we have free time and are showing eachother pictures of our friends and family and pets. We need to be in bed in an hour and I need to take a shower, but in short form, I'm alive and Imma like it, however it does not feel like Imma be doing this for the next 6 months. Stay in contact people!
